The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency will extend its usage of DigitalGlobe’s satellite imagery service for at least another year.
NGA renewed DigitalGlobe’s Global Enhanced GEOINT Delivery platform on Sept. 1 under the EnhancedView contract, DigitalGlobe said Thursday.
The Global EGD platform is designed to provide NGA and other government users with at least 6 billion square kilometers of unclassified earth imagery intended to support the agencies’ situational awareness, emergency response and operational planning operations.
Classified domain-based government users will have access to more content than previously available under the one-year extension, DigitalGlobe said.
