cybersecurityThe U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology has offered MorphoTrust, HealthIDx and Galois $3.7 million in total grants to build tools that can help organizations and consumers to secure their online transactions.

MorphoTrust, HealthIDx and Galois represent the fourth set of grant recipients under NIST’s National Strategy for Trusted Identities in Cyberspace, the agency said Monday.

NIST granted HealthIDx $813,922 to demonstrate a technology meant to protect the identity and information of medical patients, as well as awarded Galois $1,856,778 to create a biometric-based personal data storage platform for mobile ticketing and Internet of Things devices.
