The SAP National Security Services training program for veterans is moving forward to its fourth session with an analytics-focused curriculum in response to feedback from prospective employers, FCW reported Thursday.
Sean Lyngaas writes that the NS2 Serves-run program has shifted from enterprise resource planning courses to analytics in efforts to meet the growing demand for analytical skills.
SAP NS2 President Mark Testoni said companies such as parent firm SAP, Accenture, Computer Sciences Corp., Lockheed Martin and Northrop Grumman have hired graduates of the training program.
He noted that the training works to add a new technical skill to the military-developed skill sets of veterans in order to boost their employability, Lyngaas reports.
Testoni added that the program has expanded from offering two courses this year to three.
