Jacobs has been awarded a spot on multiple-award task order contract by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to provide architecture and engineering services for its Japan District.
USACE Architecture and Engineering Services Contract Details
The Dallas, Texas-based company said the contract, which has a total aggregate capacity of $249 million, covers construction, sustainment, restoration and modernization services for U.S. military installations in Japan. In addition, Jacobs will provide support to the construction programs of the host nation.
Jacobs will leverage its design-build capabilities for the planned projects that support military installations and critical infrastructure. These include support services for mission and operations, education and training facilities, accommodation, lifestyle and recreation, health and wellness facilities, telecommunications and secure data services and aircraft, ship and waterfront operations.
The contract includes a five-year base period with one two-year option period.
