Matthew Liba, formerly general manager of Sionyx’s government business unit, has joined aerospace and defense company Mercury Systems as vice president of the compute line of business.
In a statement on Sunday, Liba expressed his excitement, saying, “I’m thrilled to be a part of the Mercury team, providing our warfighters with a competitive advantage on the battlefield.”
Before his general manager role, Liba served as chief product officer at Sionyx.
Prior to that, he held senior director positions managing programs and products at Teledyne Technologies’ FLIR business and Endeavor Robotics.
Liba also held lead roles at iRobot, focusing on program management and product development.
Earlier in his career, he worked as an engineer and program manager at BAE Systems.
