Farrell Proffitt, former executive vice president at RIVA Solutions, has joined McLean, Virginia-based government information technology consultancy PBG Consulting as EVP of growth.
She will be responsible for leading PBG’s business development, partnerships, capture strategy and market-related efforts to drive its growth, the firm said Tuesday.
Proffitt brings to the role experience in working at RIVA for more than a decade, during which she spearheaded its business development and proposal, marketing and other growth-focused activities. She also worked as a business consultant at Aquilent and a program manager at K4 Solutions earlier in her career.
Commenting on Proffitt’s inclusion to the executive team, PBG Founder and CEO Pawla Ghaleb said, “Farrell is a perfect fit for PBG: A creative and intuitive IT leader and a passionate advocate for the federal customer.”
PBG is a women-owned small business that offers strategic consulting, program implementation and IT modernization and digital transformation support to federal agencies. It has spots on several government contract vehicles, including the General Services Administration’s 8(a) STARS III governmentwide acquisition contract.
