Sierra7 has received a task order to help the Department of Agriculture’s Office of the Chief Information Officer develop an enterprise framework for procurement activities and documentation for a continuity of operations program.
USDA placed the order through the Chief Information Officer – Solutions and Partners 3 contract, a governmentwide procurement vehicle managed by the National Institutes of Health, the company said Friday.
The work involves assisting the department to develop OCIO category management practices, revalidate concept of operations, test measures to ensure business continuity and establish emergency action plans.
In April 2020, Sierra7 acquired HMS Technologies’ position on the CIO-SP3 contract as part of an asset purchase agreement.
