Spire Global will continue providing the National Reconnaissance Office with commercial radio frequency remote sensing data under the Strategic Commercial Enhancements Broad Agency Announcement framework.
NRO exercised two options and extended Spire contract through March 1, 2025, the space-based data and analytics company said Monday.
The agency will continue to utilize Spire’s capacity to evaluate the acquisition of commercial radio frequency data for situational awareness and intelligence.
Chuck Cash, vice president of federal sales at Spire, said the contract shows NRO’s commitment to expanding on spaced-based innovation.
“The NRO has continued to show its commitment to innovation by recognizing the value of [radio frequency] data in providing situational awareness and strengthening global security,” he added.
