More than 350 officials representing the U.S. government, military, non-governmental organizations, education sector, federal contractors and small businesses are expected to attend the International Stability Operations Association’s 16th annual summit on Nov. 17 and 18.
This year’s conference will focus on how global stability operations providers are affected by issues amid situations in Ukraine and the Pacific, ISOA announced Friday.
It will also identify mission-critical needs in the Middle East, Africa and the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command locations.
The keynote speakers are Lt. Gen. Scott Spellmon, commanding general of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers; John Tenaglia, principal director of the Department of Defense’s pricing and contracting arm; and Stephen Townsend, retired Army general and former commander of the Africa Command.
Panel discussions will include countering crime and instability overseas, women in peace and security operations, and small business opportunities in the stability operations sector.
The event will be held at the Hilton McLean Tysons Corner hotel in Virginia. Visit the ISOA website to learn more about the summit.
