NDI Engineering has received a six-year, $42.9 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract from the U.S. Navy to carry out various support services for the military branch’s hull maintenance and technical submarine communication and electromagnetic systems.
The Department of Defense said Friday the company will provide the Naval Surface Warfare Center’s Philadelphia Division with prototyping, integrated logistics, shipboard verification test, program management, financial and administrative services in support of HM&E SCEMS-related functions.
At the time of the award, the Navy will obligate $100,050 from its fiscal 2021 shipbuilding and conversion funds and will award NDI a task order for universal modular mast engineering and technical support.
NDI will provide its services through August 2028, with 77 percent of the work occurring at NSWCPD in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and the remaining 23 percent at the engineering company’s facility in Thorofare, New Jersey.
The said division is the contracting activity and awarded the IDIQ, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to NDI following a competitive process.
