William Roberts, formerly assistant deputy commandant for program and resources at the U.S Marine Corps, was named vice president of strategic growth at government consulting services provider Significance.
In assuming the newly created position, Roberts will be tasked to support the company’s efforts to grow its product and service offerings and customer base, Significance said Saturday.
The former Department of Defense senior executive brings to the company leadership team experience in finance and resource management, budgeting, audit and financial policies and procedures. His career also includes time serving as chief financial officer and senior civilian of the Army National Guard and as director of accountability and audit readiness, Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army, Financial Management and Comptroller.
“William’s vast relationship network, professional experience and operational expertise will be invaluable to Significance as we continue on our growth trajectory,” said Mary Ahern Snyder, founder and president of Significance.
The small business has operations in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia; and Annapolis, Maryland. It offers consulting services in the areas of financial management and audit, program and project management, transformation and strategy as well as systems support training.
