A Magellan Health subsidiary and NeuroFlow have teamed up to implement a digital health and wellbeing management platform for the Department of Defense’s Military and Family Life Counseling program.
Magellan Federal will combine its MFLC support services and NeuroFlow’s self-guided mobile application to help service members and their spouses gain access to behavioral health resources and tools using a smartphone, Magellan Health said Tuesday.
The two companies will initially run their joint effort at three military bases over 18 months as part of the DOD-funded program that offers non-medical counseling services to U.S. military families worldwide.
“Through our work with NeuroFlow, we are offering a digital solution with a focus on prevention and early identification of issues taking a unique, evidence-based approach,” said Anna Sever, interim CEO of Magellan Federal.
Magellan Federal has supported the MFLC program since 2012 and received a seven-year, $2 billion contract last year to continue its counseling services.
