Cross domain platform, production

The U.S. Army has selected Raytheon TechnologiesCollins Aerospace business to manufacture a small form factor platform capable of enabling secure, real-time data transfers between platforms from different domains.

The company said Sunday it will deliver to Army Rapid Capabilities and Critical Technologies Office a cross-domain technology meant to disseminate data across different classification levels.

The Collins Aerospace platform will be produced to pass information straight to an approval authority to expedite clearances and reduce data lag.

“We designed this [cross domain solution] with the most critical needs of the warfighter in mind: accurate data at their fingertips in a form factor that enables mobility,” said Heather Robertson, vice president and general manager for integrated solutions at Collins Aerospace.
