Red Hat has partnered with stackArmor to use the latter’s offering to speed up the process of achieving authority to operate under the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program for its cloud service on Amazon Web Services.

“We are pleased to collaborate with stackArmor to help us accelerate the FedRAMP ATO for Red Hat OpenShift Service on AWS GovCloud offering,” Clara Conti, vice president and general manager of North American public sector business at Red Hat, said in a statement published Tuesday.

The FASTTR on AWS offering from stackArmor is designed to help organizations reduce the cost and time of achieving ATOs and other compliance certifications through standardization, automation and integration with the National Institute of Standards and Technology’s Open Security Controls Assessment Language or OSCAL. FASTTR is the acronym for Faster ATO with Splunk, Telos and ThreatAlert for Regulated Markets.

“Helping customers address their security and compliance requirements while speeding cloud-native development and modernization efforts is essential,” noted Conti, a 2022 Wash100 Award winner.

Red Hat OpenShift Service on AWS or ROSA is a cloud service offering that could help organizations expedite application development initiatives.
