David Leach, former official at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, was named to serve as senior vice president and national market lead for federal civilian programs at Michael Baker International.
The newly appointed executive will oversee Michael Baker’s portfolio of civil works in support of customers in the Department of Defense and other agencies, the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania-headquartered engineering and consulting company said Tuesday.
He brings to his new role expertise earned from his time leading USACE programs in the U.S., Europe, Africa and the Middle East. He most recently worked as the deputy assistant of the Army for civil works.
James Koch, president of federal programs and services at Michael Baker International, said Leach’s engineering and construction experience will support the company’s projects involving the development, protection and restoration of U.S. water and land resources.
