Executive Mosaic, a leadership media and events company in the government contracting sector, is calling for nominations for the ninth run of the Wash100 Award that annually honors GovCon leaders who exemplify commitment to achieving growth and innovation in the industry. The award also highlights a GovCon executive’s achievement, vision and leadership.
Nominations can be submitted until Dec. 31 via Wash100.com, where you can also read the history of the award and learn more about previous inductees and their career history and highlights.
“This past year’s embattled economy and government efforts to keep companies growing virtually, adjust supply chain, implement AI, fight cyber, protect our borders, monitor and compete with near-peer adversaries, integrate technological solutions and fight the pandemic on all fronts have produced a larger than ever array of deserving senior executives for consideration. Having an exceptional performance over the past year is but half the challenge. The Wash100 Award is further distinguished by its award to those that show the greatest promise for the year ahead,” said Jim Garrettson, CEO of Executive Mosaic and founder of the Wash100 Award.
The 2022 iteration of the Wash100 Award will recognize private and public sector leaders who make significant contributions across the federal sector.
Garrettson continued, “I’d like to add an increased level of consideration upon the nominees for the quality that Nobel Economic Prize winner and author Daniel Kahneman coined as ‘Optimistic Bias’. It is this quality that is endowed to only a small percentage of the population and propels winners and leaders to succeed during even the most trying times.”
Individuals representing GovCon businesses, policy groups, government advisers, academic institutions as well as consulting and other industry-related organizations are eligible for nomination. Inclusion and diversity will also be given additional consideration by the award review committee.
The upcoming selection builds on the previous year’s record-topping GovCon community participation. The 2021 Wash100 is also logged as the most competitive voting season in the award’s history.
