BigBear.ai has entered into a commercial partnership with Palantir Technologies to provide integrated product offerings and extended enterprise operating systems for their expanded federal and commercial customer base.
Under the partnership, BigBear.ai’s Observe, Orient and Dominate products will be integrated onto Palantir’s Foundry platform to enhance the Palantir ecosystem with machine learning capabilities and provide markets such as space, logistics, retail and energy with greater global data collection capabilities, the companies said Monday.
Brian Frutchey, chief technology officer for BigBear.ai, said the partnership will allow the two companies to deliver more robust capabilities to its customers during a period of rapid growth within the artificial intelligence/machine learning market.
He added, “We are confident that this partnership will accelerate BigBear.ai’s penetration into high growth markets, including commercial markets and the Federal government, and help us expand our existing customer relationships as well as attract new customers at this critical stage of expansion for BigBear.ai.”
As part of the partnership, BigBear.ai and Palantir will also be taking joint products to market in a move that is expected to accelerate BigBear.ai’s growth and sales trajectory as well as expand Palantir’s addressable opportunities.
Specifically, the companies are considering how BigBear.ai’s commercial space products could be utilized with Palantir products to deliver augmented offerings to government clients.
Recently, BigBear.ai partnered with Redwire to develop space cyber range capabilities for the SpaceCREST initiative.
