The U.S. Army has released a sources sought notice for manufacturing of Apache aircraft's manned-unmanned teaming system as well as data link capability module, radio frequency electronics, upper receiver, air-air-ground antennae and other related subcomponents.
The service branch said in the beta SAM notice posted Monday the MUMT capability and aircraft parts must be capable of providing commands to control existing subsystems and of working with existing unmodified equipment to ensure that the attack helicopter still operates properly.
Potential sources must also have the ability to deliver program support, logistic services and technical engineering data requirements.
The Army said the posting serves information and planning purposes and does not constitute a request for proposal.
Responses to the notice will be received until May 15.
