WidePoint has received task orders worth approximately $86 million combined to help the Department of Homeland Security deliver wireless cellular services across its components.
WidePoint said Wednesday the task orders come as part of the potential $500 million Cellular Wireless Managed Services 2.0Â indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract that the company secured in November 2020.
The task orders include a one-year, $81.8 million award to provide CWMS support to Immigration and Customs Enforcement. The order has four one-year extension options.
WidePoint also received a one-year, $1.1 million order to perform work for the Cyber Security and Infrastructure Security Agency and another three-month, $2.2 million order for services supporting the DHS headquarters.
The company additionally received three orders worth $1.6 million combined to perform cellular wireless support to the Customs and Border Protection for up to five years.
Todd Dzyak, president of WidePoint Integrated Solutions, said the awards build on the company’s existing relationships with the DHS, particularly with DHS HQ and ICE.
Jin Kang, CEO and president of WidePoint, noted that it is “encouraging to see new orders come to fruition†as the company works to expand its footprint in DHS programs.
The CWMS 2.0 contract will run throughout a one-year base period and has four one-year options that will extend work through Nov. 24, 2025.
