Aerial intelligence technology maker Measure has received an award from the U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory to provide software to support the service branch’s drone engineering operations.
Measure said Tuesday it will supply drone software for the Air Force’s Rapid Engineer Deployable Heavy Operational Repair Squadron Engineer and Civil Engineering squadrons under the agreement.
The Washington, D.C.-based company will conduct feasibility assessments of software concepts that could benefit end-users of drone technology at the Air Force as part of Phase I activities.
The Air Force selected Measure as part of a pool of contractors that will conduct research and development work as well as commercialization of the resulting technologies.
Jesse Stepler, cofounder and chief strategy officer as well as head of product at Measure, will act as the program's principal investigator.
Brandon Torres Declet, CEO and cofounder of Measure, said the company is eager to continue its partnership with the Air Force in efforts to provide mission-critical drone software for Department of Defense entities.
Measure’s software is designed for program management and tracking, flight log visualization, data analysis, enterprise asset management system integration and geospatial intelligence.
