Carahsoft Technology has agreed to market a full-search platform designed by Yext to government agencies through the Reston, Virginia-based company's reseller partners as well as the National Association of State Procurement Officials Valuepoint and NASA Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement V contracts.
Through the Answers platform, Yext seeks to help the government provide access to information in preparation for COVID-19 vaccination efforts, Carahsoft said Wednesday.
Yext teamed up with the World Health Organization and the governments of Alabama and New Jersey to develop customized information hubs that will provide information on COVID-19.
It was noted that one of the hubs achieved a weekly average of nearly 900,000 visits, with more than 19 million users visiting the website by 34 million times.
"As government agencies plan their digital strategies around the COVID-19 vaccine, providing constituents with easy access to accurate information is critical," said Lorin Krzywicki, sales manager for Yext at Carahsoft.
New York-based company Yext provides search experience products to retail, health care and public sector customers.
