Deloitte has entered into a multiyear strategic collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to support cloud migration and application modernization projects of government and enterprise customers, Deloitte announced Wednesday.Â
"Our joint model with AWS uses automation to accelerate and optimize our clients' cloud migrations, and industry-leading solutions to modernize applications,†said Patrick Jehu, principal and AWS Professional Services general manager, Deloitte Consulting.
The collaboration will unite Deloitte's global cloud practice and consulting expertise with the technical skills of AWS Professional Services to optimize business outcomes by modernizing workloads.Â
Deloitte's consulting and advisory practices help lead cloud strategy, organization transformation, migration, modernization and managed services. The offerings are supported by AWS and Deloitte in an end-to-end value delivery model.Â
Deloitte's Cloud Transform Lab will help modernize business processes by leveraging AWS services, including data analytics and artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML). The joint delivery with AWS Professional Services will provide governance, adherence to AWS architectural best practices and access to migration and modernization patterns.Â
Deloitte is a member of the AWS Managed Services (AMS) program with experience and differentiated IP to migrate customers onto AMS. Deloitte and AWS will help clients self-fund cloud transformations to drive savings and provide flexible managed service offerings.
“The modernization vision jointly developed with Deloitte provides an end-to-end approach from strategy to managed services. The combination of Deloitte's extensive knowledge of our customers' core systems and AWS' technical thought leadership provides enhanced value to our customers," said Todd Weatherby, VP of professional services, AWS.Â
