SOS International has received an appraisal certifying that the company's service and development performance meet the Capability Maturity Model Integration standards.
The company said Tuesday it attained the CMMI Maturity Level 3 appraisal for CMMI-DEV and CMMI-SVC through the assessment of Plowright International.
The appraisal validates the standards that SOSi has implemented across quality assurance, service delivery, product development and program management efforts.
"To date, only 23 companies have attained CMMI Level 3 V2.0 for both development and services,†said Pandora Setian, chief administrative officer at SOSi.
SOSi provides government customers a range of professional services including language translation, cybersecurity and software development.
