The Naval Surface Warfare Center's Dahlgren Division is looking to tap MZA Associates for technical support and subject matter expertise associated with the testing of a high-energy laser beam control system.
In a SAM notice posted Friday, NSWCDD indicated its intent to negotiate an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract with the company to integrate and demonstrate BCS technology designed for the AC-130J HEL prototype.
Albuquerque, New Mexico-based MZA could update or modify the system under the proposed five-year, sole-source IDIQ as the original equipment manufacturer.
NSWCDD noted it will consider capability statements, proposals or quotations from responsible sources until Dec. 7 in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations.
