Parsons has received a potential five-year, $28M task order to update an enterprise cybersecurity program that works to protect Department of Defense networks against zero-day and advanced persistent threats.
The company said Monday it will help DoD integrate, test, migrate and simplify functions of the artificial intelligence-based SharkSeer platform in multiple operational boundaries.
Veronica Kazaitis, senior vice president of business development for Parsons' cyber and intelligence market, said the company and the agency will collaborate to build cyber defense tools for the SharkSeer program to secure digital infrastructure at the department.
The Defense Information Systems Agency issued the award under the $7.5B Systems Engineering, Technology and Innovation contract vehicle.
