The Defense Information Systems Agency has granted Smartsheet provisional authorization for the company's collaborative work management platform to support at impact level 4 data in a cloud computing environment.
Smartsheet Gov is designed to help agency users collaborate on tasks, built on the Amazon Web Services GovCloud (US) region that hosts sensitive information and certified under the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program, the software company said Tuesday.
The Department of Veterans Affairs and the National Institutes of Health are among the federal organizations that have implemented the platform to support process, program and project management functions.
“Smartsheet’s DISA IL-4 authorization demonstrates the company’s continued commitment to accelerating the federal government’s use of cloud technology to drive digital transformation, and we congratulate them on obtaining this authorization,†said Sandy Carter, vice president of public sector partners and programs at AWS.
The certification reflects compliance with DoD security requirements.
