Carahsoft Technology has signed a master government aggregator agreement with FTP Today to help sell the latter's managed file transfer offering to the federal, state, local and education sectors.
FTP Today's GOVFTP, a cloud platform designed to help agencies exchange and secure data with contractors, is now available through multiple government procurement vehicles, Carahsoft said Tuesday.
Public sector organizations can procure the software, consulting and training services via the General Services Administration Schedule and the NASA Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement V vehicle.
Carahsoft added it will offer GOVFTP to the National Association of State Procurement Officials' ValuePoint purchasing agreement and The Quilt coalition's regional education contract.
The software-as-a-service offering was certified for compliance with Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program requirements and authorized to support Department of Defense workloads that fall under the impact level 4 baseline.
“As government agencies transition their infrastructure and workflows to the cloud, having a separate encrypted application for files containing sensitive data in a FedRAMP-compliant environment enables public sector IT teams to exercise greater control and governance over mission-critical information," said John Lee, vice president of cloud solutions at Carahsoft.
