Amazon Web Services has partnered with multiple technology providers for a new program that aims to help customers deploy security, networking and storage platforms that are integrated with the cloud company’s managed service offering.
AWS Outposts Ready partners offer products that can support hardware and software for the development of applications in an on-premise or a cloud environment, the company said Tuesday.
Cloud data management firm Rubrik is among the vendors that have received an Outposts Ready designation.
Rubrik offers software designed to help enterprise users move disaster recovery, applications and information security functions to the AWS platform.
Dave Sellers, general manager of cloud strategy at World Wide Technology, said WWT looks to support government customers that use Rubrik and Outposts.
WWT holds an AWS consulting partner designation.
