Dawne Hickton, head of critical mission solutions business at Jacobs and a 2020 Wash100 Award winner, said the acquisition of KeyW “accelerated that cyber opportunity†for Jacobs, Inside Defense reported Tuesday.
Jacobs completed its purchase of KeyW in June 2019 to expand its engineering and technology platforms in intelligence, cyber and counterterrorism areas.
Hickton told the publication in an interview that the "critical mass that KeyW brought us†has benefited Jacobs’ new cyber business unit, which is led by Caesar Nieves.
Nieves, a government market veteran with over 20 years of business and technical leadership experience, joined Jacobs in February to serve as senior vice president of the company’s cyber business.
