Unissant has secured a contract to help the U.S. Army's Medical Research and Development Command develop, test and deploy a cloud-based technology platform for managing health information.
The National Emergency Telecritical Care Network will be built to connect critical care teams with COVID-19 patients in virtual intensive care units, Unissant said Tuesday.
The company will focus on creating tools to support patient flow, data, continuity of care and clinical communications during the project.
Kenneth Bonner, president of Unissant, the company will incorporate a commercial off-the-shelf platform from ISeeYouCare into the NETCCN system.
ISYC and T-Mobile will serve as technical partners on the project. Unissant will also work with clinical partners from the Uniformed Services University and the Henry M. Jackson Foundation.
