Trident Systems has been awarded a potential five-year, $35M contract from the Air Force Research Laboratory to develop hardware and software that would function as secure collaborative technology or SCTECH.
The company will study, adapt, update and transition technologies for connecting chat protocols and facilitating access across security domains, the Department of Defense said Friday.
The sole-source, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract also covers installation, technical documentation and maintenance services. AFRL issued the IDIQ award under the Small Business Innovative Research program.
Work will take place in North Carolina and Virginia through June 5, 2025.
Fairfax, Va.-based Trident Systems offers technology products and services through its assured collaborations systems, integrated C4I systems and electronic systems businesses.
