Geospark Analytics has secured a $1.5M contract to help the Department of Defense automate forecasts on risk and threat intelligence via artificial intelligence technology.
The company will support the DoD’s situational awareness by integrating unique aeronautical data into its cloud-based Hyperion platform to generate machine learning models, Geospark Analytics said Tuesday. Hyperion works to generate social, economic and political forecasts.
Work will cover the company’s second phase activities for Hyperion under the Small Business Innovation Research program. The new contract marks the third Hyperion SBIR award.
Omar Balkissoon, CEO at Geospark Analytics, said the company is excited to continue its support for DoD’s aviation-related technology pursuits.
