Microsoft has released a new version of its Azure Migrate service that works to help customer agencies determine appropriate tools for moving data centers to cloud infrastructure.
Migrate V2 for Azure Government features tools from the company and independent software vendors and is designed as a “one-stop shop” for users to manage large-scale datacenter migration projects, Microsoft said Thursday.
The service also provides access to web applications, virtual desktop systems, Azure SQL databases, Windows and Linux servers.
Azure Migrate initially debuted to support public cloud initiatives in the U.S., Australia, Canada, Europe, India, Japan and the U.K.
The company noted it will extend the service to the cloud marketplace’s US Gov Virginia and US Gov Arizona regions.
