Roger Krone, chairman and CEO of Leidos and a 2020 Wash100 award winner, said the company is combining Dynetics with its Leidos Innovation Center and has not lost any of the top 50 Dynetics employees since the Reston, Va.-based technology services contractor closed the acquisition in late January, Inside Defense reported Tuesday.
He told the publication in an interview that Dynetics CEO Dave King will oversee both Dynetics and LINC, which accommodates Leidos’ science and technology-related work with the Intelligence Advanced Research Projects Agency and the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency.
"We're going to essentially co-manage those businesses out of one business unit," Krone said. "We're doing that because our best emerging technology is generated out of the LINC, and we love the way Dynetics takes technology and goes to market."
