Information technology firm Favor TechConsulting has received a five-year, $87M task order to provide software development and other support to the Department of Veterans Affairs’ Financial Services Center.
The company said Tuesday it will also carry out research, assessment, project management, deployment support and technical services as well as Tier 3 system sustainment, analytical support and production efforts for FSC offerings.
FTC obtained the task order through the VA’s Transformation Twenty-One Total Technology Next Generation contract vehicle.
VA seeks to optimize reporting, accountability and capacities to meet variable needs through its partnership with FTC. FSC has also collaborated with FTC to implement software engineering and development practices to assist in carrying out system development life cycle tasks.
Scope of work will also cover support efforts for the facility’s Scaled Agile Framework, electronic data enterprise, .NET and DevSecOps tools as well as Pega centers of excellence under the task order.
