TYSONS CORNER, VA, March 12, 2020 — Mission Essential will provide linguist services to U.S. Army personnel deployed to Kosovo under a five-year contract from the Army Contracting Command–Detroit Arsenal, GovCon Wire reported Monday.

The company said Feb. 24 will place language professionals at three operating bases to support USAREUR personnel working with the NATO-led Kosovo force in multinational brigade peacekeeping efforts.

ACC-DTA issued the award under the 10-year, $9.8B Department of Defense Language Interpretation and Translation Enterprise II vehicle.

“We are proud to contribute our linguistic expertise to our servicemen and women in Kosovo,” said Al Pisani, president of Mission Essential.

Pisani added the award extends its partnership with U.S. European Command.
