Georgia Tech Applied Research Corp. has received a potential five-year, $85M contract to help Air Force Research Laboratory develop munition technology and demonstrate integrated weapons.
GTARC will perform work as part of the lab's Golden Horde Science and Technology demonstration initiative under the Team Eglin Weapon Consortium, the Department of Defense said Thursday.
The indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract's initial task order is valued at $46M and projected to conclude in December 2021. AFRL plans to obligate $17.2M in fiscal 2019 and 2020 R&D funds on the first order at the time of award.
Scientific Applications Research Associates received a separate $100M contract in March to support the same program.
