Honeywell’s aerospace business has awarded KBR a 10-year, $77M subcontract to carry out logistics services at Hill Air Force Base Depot in Utah. It will provide engineering expertise, kitting, supply chain and program management services to support repair efforts for secondary power systems installed onto the F-16, A-10, B-1B, B-2, C-130, E-3 and F-15 aircraft units, KBR said Tuesday.
“KBR will continue to deliver unique logistics solutions that assist the Air Force in increasing aircraft availability and reducing depot turnaround time,†said Byron Bright, president of KBR’s government solutions group.
Efforts under the subcontract are intended to support Honeywell’s performance of sustainment services under a $1.03B contract from the U.S. Air Force.
