GSA Proposes to Expand Number of Awards Under Alliant 2 Small Business GWAC - top government contractors - best government contracting event

The General Services Administration has proposed to increase the number of awards from 80 businesses to 120 under the Alliant 2 Small Business contract vehicle, MeriTalk reported Tuesday.

The amendment is one of the proposed changes to the governmentwide acquisition contract after the government rescinded all contract awards in response to a federal court claims court decision, which resulted in Alliant 2 SB going back to the pre-award status.

The Alliant 2 SB GWAC is a potential 15-year, $15B contract awarded in February 2018 and allows small businesses to provide information technology products and services on an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity basis.

Other proposed changes to the contract are proposal format, official legal bidding entity, verification of leading edge technology relevant experience submission, facility clearance level, cost accounting system and audit information and basis of estimate.

Offerors have until Sept. 3 to respond to a request for comments on the proposed amendment to the Alliant 2 SB contract.
