Textron Systems has received a 10-year, $51.3 million contract modification to provide multiprobe antenna systems for the U.S. Air Force’s Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missiles.
Fiscal 2019 funds in the amount of $4.6 million will be obligated by the Air Force Nuclear Weapon Center at the time of the firm-fixed-price modification’s award, the Department of Defense said Friday.
The modification comes after the Air Force issued a $10.2 million contract to Textron in 2014 to supply the ICBM antenna components. Work under the modification will take place in Wilmington, Mass., through July 13, 2029.
