ManTech International executives spoke during a recent company-sponsored workshop to share their knowledge with small businesses that aim to build technical capabilties through the Department of Defense's Mentor-Protege Program.
Kevin Phillips, president and CEO at ManTech and a 2019 Wash100 winner, highlighted the importance of talent and security approaches in his opening remarks at the event, the company said Wednesday.
“In order to support the national security requirement, we absolutely, absolutely want to prime the right talent," Phillips told his audience.
"And we absolutely need to get them in faster.â€
Tracy Durkin, executive director of security at ManTech's mission, cyber and intelligence solutions group, delivered a presentation about insider threats while Yvonne Vervaet, senior vice president of growth and capabilities, led a panel discussion aboutinformation technology security trends.
The panelists were Jim Webster, vice president and chief information security officer; Scott Jackson, executive director and solutions architect; and Tim Schaad, executive director of CyberRange and Advanced CyberRange Environment.
