L3 Technologies‘ Wescam business booked contracts worth more than $120M during the first quarter to supply U.S. and international government customers with sensor systems for intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance missions.
L3 said Sunday it received orders for MX electro-optical/infrared sensors, mission equipment and related support services.
Christopher Kubasik, chairman, president and CEO of L3 and a 2019 Wash100 winner, said the company’s technology offerings are designed to help address defense and security mission requirements.
Kubasik added the ISR systems business helps drive innovation and collaboration across the enterprise.
The company has deployed over 4.6K Wescam MX platforms to support land, air and maritime operations in more than 85 countries.
