Rick Rider, senior director for product management at Infor, has said agencies struggling with hiring data experts must deploy artificial intelligence-based analytics to help less experienced users in data science operations through simplified procedures.
In a GCN piece published Friday, Rider wrote that predictive analytics and machine learning can aid “citizen data scientists†in analyzing factors, identifying patterns and producing insights by automating less complex tasks.
“The maximum potential is reached when AI can emulate and enhance human performance, offering advice that is reliable and intelligent. These predictive insights can help organizations anticipate, understand and prepare for future trends and outcomes,†he noted.
According to Rider, predictive analytics will enable organizations to operate efficiently while cutting costs, allowing employees to “focus on the tasks they are good at and that deliver the greatest value.â€
