BlackBerry has demonstrated readiness to meet Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program requirements with a cloud-based platform designed to help government clients manage information technology endpoints.
The company said Tuesday it achieved FedRAMP Ready designation for the Government Mobility Suite derived from the BlackBerry UEM mobile device management platform.
Bob Day, president of government solutions at BlackBerry, said some government, banking and regulated organizations worldwide use the company-made software.
Day added the firm remains commited to complete stringent requirements under the federal government’s cloud authorization program.
Kratos Defense & Security Solutions’ SecureInfo business was the third-party accredited assessor for BlackBerry and the FedRAMP Program Management Office evaluated the readiness assessment report.
