The U.S. Army's Military Entrance Process Command has implemented a Squirrel Compliancy Solutions technology designed to identify security risks of network infrastructure and automate the process to remediate vulnerabilities.
Squirrel said Tuesday its automated network compliance system works to help MEPCOM comply with the Defense Information Systems Agency's Security Technical Implementation Guides.
According to the company, ANCDS supports nine DISA STIG audits and facilitates review updates once a new guide is released or revised.
The platform also helped the command pass its cyber readiness inspections.
Gilbert Bollinger, a systems engineer at Squirrel, said that ANCDS shortened the network audit process to 25 minutes.
