Omnitec Solutions has won a potential five-year, $45.3M contract to help the U.S. Navy explore strategies to accelerate procurement planning and implementation processes.
The company will support research and analysis, industry collaborative exchange, enculturation, management of data and suppliers, government scheduling and strategic and operational execution as part of the cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.
Ninety-two percent of contract work will take place in Patuxent River, Md., and the remaining 8 percent will occur in Florida and New Jersey.
DoD expects the company to complete services by June 2024.
The Naval Air Warfare Center received four bids for the contract via a competitive acquisition process and will obligate funds upon the issuance of task orders.
Bethesda, Md.-based Omnitec Solutions offers media, business management, healthcare, information technology and engineering services.
