Cubic has unveiled a small multifunction gateway module designed to support cellular and land mobile radio communications and integrate with a maximum of eight networks.
The M3-SE-MFGW module facilitates unicast and multicast voice communications and allows direct power over ethernet operation without requiring additional cabling and components, Cubic said Tuesday.
The technology is based on the Vocality Gateway Suite and part of the firm’s DTECH M3-SE family of products.
Mike Barthlow, senior vice president and general manager of rugged IoT solutions at Cubic’s mission solutions business, said the module employs updated cellular network and routing features.
Barthlow added the company aims to equip customers with interoperability technology that can aid mission critical communications.
The module was introduced during the Special Operations Forces Industry Conference in Tampa, Fla.
