Cray won a pair of contracts worth $37.1M combined to support technology insertion efforts under the Department of Defense's high-performance computing modernization project.
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers received four bids for the firm-fixed-price contracts and obligated the full contract amounts using fiscal 2018 other procurement funds, DoD said Monday.
Work will take place in Aberdeen, Md., and Vicksburg, Miss., through Nov. 5, 2025.
HPCMPÂ components are the DoD Supercomputing Resource Center, networking and software applications support.
