BAE Named AWS Premier Consulting Partner; Manish Parikh Quoted

Amazon Web Services has recognized BAE Systems as a Premier Consulting Partner to certify the latter’s deployment of AWS tools to develop, migrate and manage workloads for public and private sector clients.

BAE said Thursday it integrates AWS offerings to support the needs of government customers under the Information Analysis Centers Multiple Award Contract, One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services and General Services Administration Alliant, contract vehicles that facilitate information technology, engineering, logistics and other services.

AWS and BAE are also working to improve the delivery of software, cloud and security tools to the Department of Defense, intelligence community and other federal and civilian agencies that use the AWS Marketplace platform.

Manish Parikh, chief technology officer of BAE's intelligence and security sector, said the partner status “reflects the company’s expanded government and commercial cloud service strategy.”

BAE holds other AWS designations including the DevOps and Government Competency certifications.
