WidePoint Completes AWS Cloud Migration for Telecom Mgmt Platform - top government contractors - best government contracting event

WidePoint has migrated its telecommunications management platform to Amazon Web Service‘s GovCloud, a government-dedicated cloud computing service region.

Todd Dyzak, president and CEO of WidePoint’s integrated solutions business, said in a statement released Wednesday the migration represents a step in pursuing Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program certification.

AWS GovCloud allows all government levels, contractors and educational institutions to run cloud applications in compliance with various policies including FedRAMP and International Traffic in Arms Regulations.

“Once we complete the FedRAMP certification and accreditation and move all federal clients to the new platform, we will be able to leverage the FedRAMP authority to operate across all government clients,” said WidePoint President and CEO Jin Kang.

The company seeks to provide services to the government via a single authorization rather than pursuing ATOs from individual agencies.
